About Me
I’ve always followed my passion and, being a creative person, this has taken me in many different directions: holistic healthcare, design and making and writing. Although these may sound disparate, the common thread running through them all is my passion, the desire to find the essence in what I am doing and express this.
Holistic Healthcare
My personal healing journey led me to a professional career in holistic healthcare and training in: psychotherapy, kinesiology, energy therapies and healing. For forty years I’ve worked in private practice and taught health care professionals, with good communication and conscious awareness underpinning my work.
Design and Making
I originally trained as an art teacher and alongside my healthcare work and writing, I’ve always had a design project. I currently work as a potter making wheel-thrown functional ware and occasionally do card design. Design and making gives me great pleasure and brings balance to my life.
Writing
I’m a non-fiction writer in the field of health, wellbeing, energy and consciousness. I’ve always loved writing and when I encounter a complex subject that moves me, and hasn’t already been elucidated, I feel compelled to write about it succinctly, hence my groundbreaking books on Kindesiology and Alzheimer’s.
I’ve been:
- a guest on Women’s Hour
- had feature articles in The Telegraph and Saga Magazine
- presented at international conferences, The Scientific and Medical Network, The College of Psychic Studies …
Although I have a French surname I’m Scottish, and having lived and worked in London for many years I’ve now returned to my roots and am living in the Findhorn Community.
Member of the Scientific and Medical Network (SMN), The British Assoc. for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) 1992 -2024, and honorary member of The Kinesiology Federation (KF), The Kinesiology Association (KA), and The Association for Therapeutic Healers (ATH).
